I know this post is going to be a bit longer than usual, but I want to give you an update on what’s been going on.

About DesignCuts Closing:

As some of you may know, DesignCuts suddenly shut down on January 16th, which has caused a complete chaos! I don’t want to overwhelm you with details, but if you’re curious about the situation other creators and I are facing, feel free to check my posts and comments on Instagram here or on Facebook here.

To sum it up: without DesignCuts, and with Skillshare and Udemy paying very little per course, it seems that my teaching journey—at least for now—has come to an end. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to finish the big 8-hour Procreate course I was working on. It just doesn’t make sense to keep putting time into something I can’t sustain financially. 😔

Look how cute my not-coming-to-life course cover was… sigh…

New Products Available:

I’ve uploaded my “only for patrons” workbooks to Gumroad! This way, they’re available to more people, and hopefully, it’ll help make up for some of the income I lost from DesignCuts. But don’t worry if you’re a patron—you’ll still get access to everything you’ve supported me for! I’m just making it possible for others to grab them too.

What’s Next?

I’m not giving up on my creative career, but I’m shifting gears a bit. From now on, I’ll be focusing more on creating coloring books instead of digital products and tutorials. My Gumroad store will stay open, and you can always reach me at contact@lettieblue.com if you have any questions. You can also find my products on Etsy, Skillshare, and Udemy, but if you ever spot them anywhere else, please let me know—those won’t be from me. If you have the choice, Etsy and Gumroad are the best places to purchase from, as I receive a much higher percentage of what you pay on those platforms compared to Skillshare and Udemy.
